Ah the classic question- I'm a natural blonde and want to go brunette? Good or bad call?
I've been blonde my entire life and keep the colour by getting highlights every few months. I've never coloured my hair, but my roots are brown..I guess that means if I never started highlighting my blonde hair, it would've turned into a mousy brown by now.
Anyway, a few people have been suggesting I go dark brown lately because I've always been blonde. I have really blue eyes so apparently the brown will make my eyes "pop"?
So any advice from hairdressers or people who have done the blonde to brunette thing? How did you feel about it? I've had a few people say they loved it and it made them feel "sexier" and a few people say it made them feel washed out and they really regretted it.
Like any blonde, I've always been curious about going brunette but I'm seriously debating it now and want advice.
ALSO, if someone goes from blonde to brunette and absolutely hated it, how hard is it to get back to your original blonde colour?
I'm naturally blonde and have dyed my hair brown.
I think it all depends on your skin tone. As long as your skin isn't really pale it should look fine, otherwise you'd probably end up looking really gothic lol.
If you don't like it you could either get your hair stripped, (take the colour out professionally), but this is quit expensive and damaged your hair. Or you could progressively use a shade lighter dye each time you need to dy your hair until you get the colour you're happy with.
