I have very short hair and therefore bought a wig?
Right, so I bought this wig (which I've been after for about 4 months):

Basically, my hair is very very short (it's shorter than alot of my guy friends to be honest, but all the other girls I know have very very long hair). I like having my hair short for some things, but I've always dreamed of growing my hair that long, but I once grew it for 3 and a half years from being at my chin and it only grew just past my sholders.
SO;
My main question is;
Is it strange for a 16 year old girl to own a wig?
MY parents don't have a problem with it, but I'm not sure :/

No its not strange at all.
I'm 17 and i cut my hair like yours (very short) so it could grow out healthier & stronger. So i bought a lace front wig and i'm wearing those until it grows out.
As long as it looks natural, and no one thinks it a wig, youll be fine =)
