Bad Hair Color!?
I had a relatively new friend color my hair - went from light blonde to what I hoped to be a deep, chestnut brown. My friend was disorganized (extremely) and took only a few brief moments to look over the many photos I had brought to the salon to give her an idea of what I wanted. My hair turned out brown but with a distinct reddish tint - my mother saw it and told me it looked like a wig!
So the question. How can I color Correct myself? I do have experience with hair color. I can't go back to my friend and ask for color correction since she did do it for free, and I feel it would be rude and hurtful. I am on a strict budget and can't afford to see my regular hair-stylist. What can I do to tone this down or darken it. I want the red OUT. I absoutly cannot go back to my friend - not an option.

The best advice i can give you, if you cant go back to a stylist is to find a shade at the department store with a COOL label. This will either permanently or temporarily(until you can get back to a professional) take out the red undertones in your hair.
