Going to a Breaking Dawn event...Any costume ideas?
I'm going to one of those Breaking Dawn midnight releases at Borders, and they're having a costume contest. Problem is, it's ridiculously hard to come up with costume ideas for Twilight! I'm a girl, pale, long red hair, average weight, 5'6", if that helps.
My top two choices right now are Victoria or Carlisle(I don't mind dressing up as a guy if it's for Twilight XD). For Carlisle I was thinking scrubs, lab coat, blonde wig, etc. Several friends have also suggested Victoria becase of my hair, but she isn't described in great detail in the books, so clothing would be really hard. I'm open to almost all suggestions, but with a few exceptions. I went to the Eclipse prom as Alice(black prom dress, short black wig, etc.) so I don't want to be her again, and I think half the girls are going to dress up as Bella, so I'm not sure if I want to do that. Also, I can't spend hundreds on this costume, so it can't involve designer dresses or stuff like that. So, any suggestions? Please??
I think you should be Victoria. In the book she is described as wild-looking, kinda catlike, and she wears hiker/backpacker clothing, you know, jeans, hiking boots, flannel shirts, everything looking all worn out and scuffed. You can look in the book for a more detailed description-its in the scene during the Cullen's baseball game when they first meet Laurent, James and Victoria.
You're right, every other girl will be dressed up as Bella, but I highly doubt that many will be dressed up as Victoria...
