harlem 125 half wig plus drawstring?
okay my client would like to try this out because its the texture she wants but the only thing is her hair is 3 inches long and its only a half wig and i dont know if it would work on her hair or not (she has straight/wavy thick hair) .. since i only use fullcap and lace wigs i didnt know what to tell her and i said ill call her with more info..
i also have a black person who wants this half wig too

For your non-African American client: She has Type 2a hair, which means that her hair is semi-wavy, but still [relatively] has a straight texture. All you need is about three inches of hair near the hairline to wear a half wig. Being that the half-wig has a drawstring as opposed to combs, your client can always adjust the width of the hair on her head.
As for your African-American client, The half wig is definitely a great option because the extra length of hair gives her an advantage for having more creative options.
Based on hair type and texture, I believe that it is best for your non-African American client to purchase the second half-wig option, whereas, your African-American client would look best in the first half-wig option.
Now, what you have been waiting for...straight from the half-wig master..LOL
Here are thorough instructions about how to apply these pieces to your clients head.
As a half-wig....
1. Secure the half wig with side combs (if included) or large wrap pins 3/4 inches behind the hair line [just above the top of the ears].
2. Tuck the drawstring underneath the wig and secure with a small hairpin or bobby pin.
3. Style the front of the hair in braids or a branded band [as shown in the picture].
4. Spray with a glossifier.
5. Finger comb to style.
As a drawstring ponytail...
1. Brush the natural hair back into a ponytail (Leave room for a bang or twists if necessary)
2. Smooth over the hair with a boar bristle brush (Diane)
3. Slightly stretch the perimeters of the drawstring piece around the natural ponytal.
4. Secure with bobby pins and combs (if located inside the hairpiece).
5. Pull the string toward the natural ponytail as tight as you possibly can. Ask the client to shake her hair to check to see if the piece is secure.
6. Wrap the remainder of the drawstring around the natural ponytail.
7. Tuck the ends of the drawstring into the hair.
8. Finish with a glossifier.
