how do you get your hair cut into a faux hawk?
i need to know how to tell the hair stylists to cut my hair so that it will go into a faux hawk, i also need to know how to style it. and any tips on what product i should use?
Many stylists will hopefully know how to cut your hair into a faux hawk, since it is a very popular style. If you want it look a certain way, print out a picture and bring it in. Basically, the stylist will cut the sides shorter and leave the center a bit longer, and "pointed." All I do is begin by using a pomeade to shape it, then firm it up with a styling mud. If my hair is a bit long, and there are strays, I'll use some hair spray to finish it up. Once you get it cut the the style you like, the stylist can show you what to do! Hope this helps!
