Satire plays an important part in Mark Twain’s classic, The Adventures of Tom Sawyer. In chapter 2, The Glorious Whitewasher, were Twain satirizes chores. Kids hate doing chores and will do anything to get out of them so it’s funny that he would make fun of that by bragging about how fun it is and making the kids want to do it for him. He also satirizes church by having every one get distracted by a beetle and a poodle dog. He knows that people get easily distracted in church by the littlest things so that is what he is satirizing.

The 2nd sentence is a fragment. It's not a complete sentence. It needs to be more clear.
Change the "so it's funny" to "therefore he demonstrates satire by making fun of that fact and bragging about how fun it is, making the kids want to do it for him".
Be more specific about why being distracted in church is satire. I don't really get that.
