how do you follow up a bad haircut?
I was tired of the amount of work unnecessary to take care of my thick, past shoulder, all one length (non layered )hair and decided to get a style cut in that would take out some of the bulk. I thought I explained myself to the lady, but obviously i did not. After trimming my hair, which she did nicely, she basically piled the top part of my hair and then just went to town with shinning shears all over my head. I feel like she cut in layers everywhere, and then just drooped the top layer back over it all. I went home and styled it, washed it and tried to adjust to it but not happy. I wanted to trust her, but now I have thinner hair, but no hair cut style, no form or shape. Should I go back to same place, and tell them how I feel or just go somewhere else?
It will be best for you and for the hairdresser if you can see her and explain politely how different your hair is from what you wanted. If you're pleasant, you might get free 'repair'. (I believe you're entitled to it, but I don't think you make friends by going in saying 'You owe me a haircut!')
