Are metal curling irons bad for your hair, even if you use a heat protector?
I realize that all heat causes SOME damage to the hair, and I've heard that ceramic curling irons are not as harmful as metal. Is that true? I tried to get a ceramic curling iron at the store today, but they only had metal in the size I wanted... If I use a heat protector, do I have to worry about damaging my hair, or will I be OK? Thanks!
