Trouble with pencil eyeliner?
I would like to start using eyeliner, because it does make my eyes look prettier when it's done correctly but I'm hopeless at using it myself. I currently have an NYC pencil liner in mink (which is like a soft brown color) but applying has proven to be tricky. I apply it to my upper lid and always seem to get a strip of skin without any color between the line of color and the lashes, and it looks really strange. I want to be able to apply the eyeliner so it looks natural, seamless, and pretty! So, help please! : ) Also, I might try out another brand - if you have any suggestions of good, inexpensive, drugstore brand eyeliners in natural colors then I would be really appreciative. Thanks!!
First off i would ditch the NYC, it smears haha. Try maybelline define a line or maybe almay. Make sure when applying you go thinner towards the inside of your eye and thicker towards the outside. Don't worry if you don't get a precise line, just take a smudger and run it over where you applied the eyeliner to smooth it into a line that blends into your lash line. Good luck
