What's the difference between gourmet/premium chocolate and regular chocolate?
My aunt brought over some "Godiva" truffle chocolates for Mother's Day. It tastes exactly like regular chocolate, for example Hershey's, except they're either less sweet or sweeter.
I wouldn't ever compare the two. To me they are polar opposites. Low grade chocolates contain low grade ingredients, more sugar and fillers. Higher grade choclates will have a finer texture as well as a higher cacao percentage, and less artificial ingrediets. They melt better, taste better.
