Is there any way to make somewhat "cheap" extensions look and feel more natural? ?

I got extensions from Sally's Beauty Shop for $50 so obviously the texture is going to be a bit different from really good extensions, except that these ones (after I razored them) now feel really coarse instead of soft like hair should feel. Any tips? I've already washed them in shampoo and conditioner, leaving the conditioner in like the instructions said.
It's a full-head clip on extension by the way if that makes any difference in maintenance.
They're synthetic, I hate them but they're all I can afford.

Is it human hair, if it's synthetic, there is probably nothing you can do. If it's human this may help it look better, you've washed and conditioned it, try doing a blunt cut on it, blunt cuts make natural hair look shinier and it gets rid of damaged ends. Just remember this, the hair isn't hair from your scalp so it doesn't have the layers like real hair, and will be nearly impossible to reverse damage, depending on how far the damage progressed. For future styling you can make your own extensions, I always make my own, and I use inexpensive hair, that way when it gets wear, I can just toss them, because they didn't cause much. Sally's sales the clips you can sew to extensions, mine always look great. Good Luck, I hope this was helpful.
