Does California require to have both rear and front lincense plate?
i bought a used car and it only had the rear lincense plate..do you know if i'll get a ticket if i don't have the front lincense plate in california?? should i go 2 the DMV (my favorite place in the whole world)
or having the rear plate okay??
When you buy a used car, you have to go to the DMV no matter how many plates the car has. You need to get the title and registration. California also does something called verifying, which consists of an employee looking at the car to make sure that the VIN number matches what is on the paperwork. (Also, in some or all states, the plates may be valid only for the original registrant and need to be replaced every time the car changes owners.)
