My first drawstring ponytail! Care advice please?
I just bought my first SPIRAL CURL drawstring pony tail and I want to know if anybody has any advice or special care instructions? Its by Free tress and is called Alabama girl. Any special sprays or washes i should use to keep it fresh lookin and nice? I want to keep it as nice and natural lookin as possible. Is there anything i should do with it before I wear it? Thanks!!
I know these dont last forever...that's why Im askin how I can prolong the lifespan of the ponytail. I have REAL hair extensions as well, so Im not familiar with synthetic. It came with instructions on how to cleanse it but I was ASKING about maintenece and care TIPS....thanks...
Usually there are instructions included with the ponytail. But basically it is relatively low maintenance. You don't need special shampoos or anything of the sort since it is sythetic, but if it happens to get dull due to sprays you use in yoru hair, just gently dip it in some basin of lukewarm water with clarifying shampoo and swish it around gently. Then let it air dry. Do not comb it or dry it at this point. The curls and waves will fall in line when drying. BTW these ponytails were not meant to last forever.
