Anyone know how to style a synthetic wig? Or what product you can put in it?
Okay so i have this relatively cheap synthetic wig i'm using for a halloween costume. It's long and wavy which is how I want it. I just want to make the waves or curls look more individual or kind of divided. Does anyone know of anything that they tried like maybe hairspray or gel or something that worked okay with a synthetic wig?
You can use a few products on a synthetic wig, but it won't make much difference. Don't use ANY heat on it because it'll melt the synthetic fibers and warp the appearance of the strands. The best I could think of is to get a salt spray or another similar light texturizing spray. Hairspray is going to make it feel a bit sticky. Try an oil sheen...it'll help separate out the waves. Shine serums would work as well. Just don't use too much.
